Who are Portara Automation and what do we do?

Bespoke & New Gates
We design and fabricate bespoke steel, steel/composite, aluminium and timber gates tailored to your property, combining strength, durability and a clean, high‑end finish. If you have your own ideas or a drawing, we can fabricate a gate that matches your design. Where a made‑to‑measure gate isn’t needed, we can also supply and install standard timber gates.
Gate Automation
Automate existing manual gates or upgrade older systems with modern motors, controls and access solutions – including intercoms, keypads and remote controls, plus safety equipment such as photocells and safety edges.
Electric Gate Repairs & Servicing
We diagnose faults and perform reliable repairs to get existing gates back into proper working order – from motors, control panels, safety equipment and access control to the gate itself, including gates we didn’t originally install. We also service gates to help prevent breakdowns.
Gate Installation
